I think Magee would jump at the chance if he were offered it. If I were Brian, I would fancy my chances very much.

Magee has lost a few times, but only conclusively to world class fighters, and Groves hasn't proved anything at that level.

Magee to outhustle him if it happened, IMO. He can take Groves' shots all night and Magee is busier.

This kid has massive support now. I reckon 2 more wins and he is bona-fide PPV material if he can do it.
I'd love it if he were a popular, charismatic and exciting fighter that fought off PPV. I sincerely hope that PPV diminishes; for domestic and ordinary World Title bouts I cannot see the reasoning for it.
Alcohol & excitement combined got me there :DDD

I think Kenny Anderson is owed a rematch, Kenny was a last minute subsitute and gave George all kinds of problems. That would be my next fight.

Then I would build him on towards the EBU title and then in 12 months time - Steiglitz.... then see where Degale is at.

Remember, most like the underdog and most are happy with the result - but it was a dull sparring session for the most part.
i agree should be kenny like! a fitter kenny anderson will have him this time

Matching Groves wisely on the same cards as Degale for a couple of fights could let the rematch build nicely and make it very big at the beginning of next year/end of this.

I say a couple of durable but eminently winnable milking fights with Degale under him.

That's what I'd do if I was them. There's very big money to be made in this if they play it right and let it really build.

It would also be Degale's route back to PPV: a big rematch.

Not DeGale. Let him regroup, as he brings nothing to the table now. No titles, coming off a loss. Groves gains nothing here.

Anderson? Magee? Some american or the Euro route?

Any of these other options good. I believe they will push George down the Euro route. The guy is going to get better, as he mature.

DeGale is a top prospect but his attitude is awful, he was so dismissive of Groves, to the point of laughing at him

On the same cards? Am I missing something here? Have Hayemaker and Warren done joint cards before?

I'd say Anderson or the EBU title next, definitely not DeGale he can wait, I'd only want to see that one again if it was for a world title.

Brian Magee is an excellent call. I'd go for him or I'd look at the European title
