If this went on to PrimeTime for £4.99, would you buy it, regardless of undercard.

It's more likely to be on Premier Sports. But to answer your question for a fiver I think I would buy it!

whats premier ? how does that effect me..i can get primetime and sky sports ppv but what is the other one? i dont have the sky subscription

No, i honestly don't think i would. It's a British title fight between 2 mediocre fighters. Nothing more, nothing less. They might go on to be better fighters in the future but neither has done anything of note in their respective careers. One beat a lifeless danny williams who was British level at his peak, the other has a funny name

Wouldn't touch it if it's on Primetime, don't trust them at all. Too many bizarre happenings such as phone calls suggesting a 'problem' with my account on the day of their low selling Khan PPV that I had no interest in.....along with poor communication and a total lack of confidence that what you've paid for will actually appear on your screen.

Decent fight, if it was on a network I had confidence in I'd fork out a fiver.....

Also wouldn't touch Primetime after my past experiences. I found customer support to be rude, accusatory and not in the slightest apologetic even when I demonstrated they were at fault. Once I'd maybe have given them the benefit of the doubt as a new venture, but after a second bad experience... no way.

If the fight was elsewhere for a fiver, I'd pay.

Even at a fiver it sets a terrible precedence having British title fights on ppv.

Sorry mate, I didn't see any of the PPV show. Did Sky promote the bout? From what I've heard, I'd be surprised if Sky entertained Big Mick but hey, you never know!

Neither did i but i thought it kicked off between Fury & Chisora, surely that's better than any other form of promotion. Thought it may have been caught on camera

I am a bit stunned, although can understand why it is happening in this case with Hennessy's TV situation, that this is a PPV. I did state that it wouldn't surprise me, had they been on sky that Sky could hype it up for a PPV - but its going to struggle to do well without the Ringside platform.

I'd actually pay £15 for this and I have barely purchased any PPV boxing in the last couple of years. It boils down to how much you want to see something, and Fury v Chisora is top of my 2011 wish list.

Fury talks the talk, but more importantly, walks the walk too and if he can beat Chisora I'm hoping he will take on all comers for the British title like Price, Dallas etc

I believe he's the only British heavy out there prepared to take them all on AND has a promoter to match his ambition.

Primetime will have some signing on fee I presume, bumping the price to, what, £15 ? £20 ... not a chance I'd buy it for that. Strem, Im not ashamed to say, would be the way forward.

Have you ever bought a PPV with Primetime, if yes then you won't have to pay the fee.

primetime offer absolutely no marketing, nobody will know the fight is on. the fighters would make more money scrapping in the street with a violin case opened for passers-by to throw their shrapnel in

Khan-McCloskey grossed around £1 million.

you reckon this fight will make anywhere near £1m? features two boxers that nobody outside boxing. plus, apart from khan being a household name and coming off a fight-of-the-year, mccloskey has a big enough fanbase in ireland who were willing to stump up.

Primetime? They have done cheaper PPV's in the past - Holyfield vs Botha, Steiglitz vs Ornelas etc and they have done deals.

However, Premier sports have stated on FB have stated that the Watson vs O Donnell 2 bill was the most expensive show they had - so obviously there is the cost to budget the show also.

As for the other point you made. Khan vs McCloskey did very well, all things considered.... but a good point made by another poster not so long ago - it did benefit from the Sky collapse - people got to hear about it, and the channel it was on etc. This will not, becuase there is not a story attached to its TV deal.

Fury has had exposure on the ITV channels, two excellent scraps on Sky and has never knowingly under sold himself when the opportunity arose!

Surely this fight wouldn't have to make £1 million, it's not a world title fight where as Khan's was.
