Lopez would've hammered him. Bigger, faster, stronger, more accurate, more skilled.

I dont doubt you as you're one of the great posters on this forum but I got to ask you before further debate..

How many times have you really seen Chang?

The Korean Hawk is one under-fighter and if anyone had the tools to compete vs Lopez it was him. Sound boxer with excellent skills. I pick Lopez to win this one but not by much and I would not be surprise if Chang managed to get the win in a close fight. The Korean Hawk didn't have great power but he was accurate with his punches and very hard to hit cleanly.

Good point. Chang was aggressive but at the same time, there was a method to his madness. He knew how to mix up offense with defense he was pretty elusive even within punching range. Boxers beat Brawlers more times than not but those boxers are also vulnerable against the swarmers such as Chang. Lopez is a pure boxer ( with power in both fists ) but i noticed how he's bothered by pressure and body punches in some of his fights. Chang, I dont know, they called him the Hawk for a reason and i can see him beating lopez in a grueling 12 round decision.. Chang would turn this into a streefight and I dont think Lopez is accustomed to that.

I've seen pretty much everything on YouTube about him. Personally I think he was skilled but against Lopez he'd be fighting a guy with essentially the same attributes enhanced, almost like a Mayweather-Judah battle

Lopez beat the 15 lbs. Heavier Rosendo Alvarez in a street fight. Alvarez would've KO'd Chang

This is a tough one to call. Very close, I'd probably lean to Lopez by tight decision based on harder shots. But Chang would be in his chest. I'd take Gushiken over either of them.

Alvarez knocking out Chang is something I'd like to see. Be happy to bet large that would never happen.

Hmmm. I can see no way, whatever, that Chang beats Lopez. any version of Chang, even the young vigorous one. the young vigorous one nearly had his head taken off by Ohashi's left hook counters, and Ohashi literally hit like a 10 year old girl.

I say Lopez stops him late-ish.

Either you've seen none of Chang and are lying or your analytical skills are virtually non-existent (or perhaps you just posted in haste?). That comparison is about as inept as is possible to make.

The young, vigorous one that took on Ohashi? You mean the physically faded, past prime version (and when you're never one of the most dedicated fighters, that just adds insult to injury)? Honestly, do you guys even know what you're talking about? At all?

For the record I think Chang was the perfect foil to Lopez's technically correct, but altogether stiff and rigid style.

King Carlos <<<< Now here's a poster who knows what he's talking about.. Real recognizes real...

Some of these other guys make me laugh, hysterically...

I'm positive that you other guys dont know much about Chang.. Making speculations after watching few minutes of clip on Youtube is hardly respectable.
