He's a better boxer than he is musician - I heard that tune and i thought it was rubbish.
dont you dare have an opinion because it will only make him angry
I wouldn't want to make the bloke angry as i hear he's part of some scouse mafia or something. Got nothing against the bloke, but surely it was only scousers that bought that record? It was shite.

i have nothing against Smith but he does seem to have a problem when others have a different opinion to him. A lot of the time he maybe is a bit misunderstood but a lot of them time he lets himself down. By all accounts he seems a decent lad but one maybe not suited to internet chat
D*ckheads just wind him up mate, and there's a lot of them.

Regarding the music - 'Better than life' was a belter at the time. Memories...

I used to enjoy Paul's posts. Shame he stopped but like all boxers on here, he got un-warranted stick.

Where as Tony B, can brush it off and respond with classic diplomacy (even though he probably does get wound up, but is confident enough to know what these ppl are. Bomber gets top marks for his ability not to rise to these people) and Big Larry O getting stick for getting stopped in one round and not reacting to trolling, Paul struggled to control his emotions when debating wth these people.

They were on the wind up and Paul struggled to keep his cool. So now he doesn't post here which is fair enough.

I remember watching Paul during the Commonwealth Games and the guy was a very skilled boxer, good lateral movement, fast hands and good combinations. That version of Paul would do very, very well, especially at MW. Why hasn't he utilised these skills? Insted relying on pressure and forcing a punch up?

Paul use speed, movement and combo's, like the old days. :TU:

My point has nothing to do with money. It's the fact he gave up something he enjoyed to become more dedicated to training before fights.

while smigga might have had a part in the ideas for that track, it was mike di scala who was the driving force behind it.

same goes for the foo fighters - best of you remix.

i think people can be a bit hard on him, hes a genuine lad that wears his heart on his sleeve. he responds to critisicm but so do we all. some people handle it better than others but thats just life.

i remember him from when he used to post on the anton powers forum and hes a nice lad...

I found if people interacted respectfully with Paul Smith, he would reciprocate and that generally if he did any different it was with people who were not at all respectful. i don't mean respectful like 'ooh you're a pro boxer' just the normal manners most of us would like.

Smith was a decent enough domestic fighter but I had him losing by a point to Quigley (was ringside with Terry and he'll testify) and he was shown up by DeGale

Obviously it was a different Paul Smith on FB so the people who slated him for that should hold their hands up, but I remember sending him a PM a few months back before the DeGale fight asking for an interview and he just blanked me. Not even a "sod off I'm busy you Welsh twot"

Must have been busy...shame as he has fans in this area.

Smigga's latest fight.

Used the jab well. Nice right to finish. Good to see him utilising his boxing ability.

Where did you get it? Was it on the fake Paul Smith's Facebook page or included in a barbed comment to Apple Groves?
