Anyone of note read these forums?
I have only been a registered user for a month but I know Tony Bellew, Curtis Woodhouse, Bradley Pryce and Steve Bunce read and contribute on these forums but do any of the promoters, trainers or managers read or put their two pennies worth in?
It would be interesting to know if allegedly, Mick Hennessy or Eddie Hearn had a sticky beak on here.

Re: Anyone of note read these forums?
Eddie Hearn has mentioned the he looks at "the forums" a few times a day. I assume that will include this one.
Ed Robinson of Sky also posts here sometimes and seems like a very nice bloke.

I know personally of some but dont even know there usenames , just that they mention "oh yeah read that on boxrec"

Anyone of any note in the trade under the age of 40 (and plenty over this age) uses BoxRec for one reason or another.
Many of these read the forums and some of them post too.

Re: Anyone of note read these forums?
ha-ha sneaky gits! Well hopefully they might start to put some better cards together. :) (Can't beat a gay smiley face, the birds love it)
I'd better not mention John McDermott's KO of big Larry O then?!
I know one person who won't be posting on these forums............Answer Glen Johnson. After reading one of his recent interviews, it sounds like he spends his spare time rinsing out his missus when he is not in training!

Re: Anyone of note read these forums?
Johnny Greaves, Frank Malooney (
), Darcy Delaney, Anthony Farnell, Simon Fox (
) Curtis Woodhouse, Liam Camaron; there are some very good boxers, trainers and insiders who post. Frankie Gavin posts from time to time as do the younger Smith brothers.

David Haye reads this forum. Spud got his job with Hayemaker promotions after Haye private messaged him on this site.

Re: Anyone of note read these forums?
There was another very good prospect on the other day; Mike Wilson (US); he has some real pedigree.
And I nearly forgot
Michael Hunter posts pretty regular and he's a good lad; (made in hartlepool though) haha
And I nearly forgot

Re: Anyone of note read these forums?
If the journalists who work for Boxing Monthly post on here, I will say 'thank you' for a great magazine now. That is the best written magazine I have ever read. It is such an easy read, just flows and has some excellent articles.
Who is Spud and what does he do with Hayemaker?
Eddie - If you are reading.....can I have a job with Matchroom please? I'll chuck in the Old Bill upon my return to the UK! ha-ha

Re: Anyone of note read these forums?
Paul Smith does not post here anymore.
Tony Bellew posts here and deals with posters very well.
Buncey did post here, too. Not sure he does anymore. He might read the forums but due to coming in for some (unfair imo) stick, he seems to have given Boxrec a miss. Shame.
Boxingchat is something to do with Sports Network, even though he/she keeps denying it. Not sure why, tbh.
Hennesey Sports just posts announcements of fights and does not interact in any topic.

Haye does read this forum on a regular basis. I can't confirm as to how Spud got his job but best of luck to him.Fat Git wrote:Seriously?Wake up call wrote:David Haye reads this forum. Spud got his job with Hayemaker promotions after Haye private messaged him on this site.
