Although first fight was a barnstormer i dont think a rematch is a good idea, there careers have gone different ways, lets just remember the fight of the year.

Terrible idea! Earl shouldn't be fighting at this stage, never mind fighting Katsidis.

Got to agree with you mate. If it does happen I can see Katsidis stopping him in 4

was Earl's last fight the Khan debacle?

absolutely no point him going in with someone who has been in with Marquez and Guerrero last 2 fights.

4 rounds? I'd be very surprised if Earl can last 2 minutes. Would be very sad to watch

Aye mate your probs right. I didn't realize I wrote 4, I meant to write 2. I don't think it will happen but Katsidis is looking for someone and not a lot of people would be willing to go over to OZ. Here's hoping they find someone else

I would lose respect for Katsidis if he went with this. And it takes a lot for me to do that as I have the utmost respect for him as a warrior. This is suicide

At first glance I was hoping somebody had brought an old thread back to life

Hopefully the Aussie public has learnt from Green v Briggs

No way should Katsidis take this fight. Earl should know better than to be asking for it. He's retired it should stay that way.

Earl had the resilience of a scarecrow on a windy day the last time I watched him.

Someone who cares about him should reign him in.

Earl is gone, so why is he even being considered? Could do himself even more damage, he's had his day time to hang them up
