Does anybody know why Sam Sexton didn't fight on Saturday night?

Caught masturbating in the changing rooms?! ha-ha Nope, not a clue mate. I thought he would be chomping at the bit to get back into action.

He was listed as being a 'live swing' fight just before Cleverly's match. I assume that's nothing to do with music, and instead would have fought if Frankie Gavin's snoozefest hadn't lastest the full 12 rounds.

That must be pretty rubbish! Last fight locking horns with Delboy Chisora and on this occasion Frank W says to him "Get your gloves in case Sam, you might get a run out...........let's see how long this snooze fest with Frankie Gavin lasts for".

If thats the case he needs a change of promotors.

The Gavin fight was so boring. It put me to sleep alright! I saw a press conference between Mutley & Gavin, and I thought Mutley would have at least had a go. After last weekend's fights, I've decided that I aint gonna watch any press conferences ever again. I'll just go to the circus instead!

He does need to change promoters. He should give Mr Hearn a ring...

I thought the 'swing' fights took place at the end of the night, if the TV meant they had to be delayed?

Yeah this does happen quite often, many venues have deadlines usually midnight

That would be SO annoying if you'd trained and got yourself pumped up for a fight!

That's ridiculous.

Although why has it taken him until the end of May to organise a comeback fight when he lost to Chisora way back in September? He's had 2 fights in 2 years. At this stage of his career he should be fighting 3-4 times a year.

Frank can't take all of the blame for that. I know his mother was ill, but that surely can't completely legislate for his lack of activity.

haye macca did go on till 2am because the fight started late because of american television.Afterwards it was a nightmare getting home no tubes, car park deadlocked - luckily the blackwall tunnell was closed for maintenance so a large group including myself walked through it to getback to east london- an interesting and very hot experience

Looks like the reason there were no fights after the main event was because there were too many fights breaking out in the crowd at the O2 after the Degale/Groves match.

His fight was cancelled - the show was stopped by police because Groves and DeGale fans were kicking off!
