Without wanting to sound ungrateful, why isn't this shown live? Is it simply because it will cost Sky a lot more and they don't think anyone will be interested at silly o clock?

I think they've probably done this to monopalise the tv audience. They can probably afford to pay more for a delayed viewing than a live viewing from someone like Premier.

All in all good that its on tv even if it's not live but as people have said most people would record it and watch it the next day rather than watch it live anyway

Froch has sole UK tv rights to the Super Six, wouldnt be surprised if he just gave it them.

Great that it's on Sky. Why does it matter if it's not live? Would you rather watch it at 10am, or struggle to stay awake til 5am to see it live? It's not difficult to avoid seeing/hearing the result, just don't switch on your laptop and don't turn onto channel 405.

Think Rhodes might have this one. He's prob forgotten more than Alvarez knows.

Tough job for Ryan but extremely 'do-able'. Unless he's hiding an injury or illness he seems ultra confident and i think he's defo got the tools to give him a 50/50. Wether he gets a fair crack of the whip is another matter.

Hopefully they show Broner/Litzau. That should be a cracker. Really looking forward seeing how Rhodes deal with Alvarez. I think he'll pose him a lot of problems that'll be interesting too see if Alvarez has the answers, this will definetly be his toughest test to date and will give us a good idea of how good he really is.

That said, he really has no pressure on him - he's got in largely stacked against him and has nothing to lose.

I don't stay up for boxing anymore, megafight or not. It's really not that hard to avoid the result. I generally skip the recording forwards to find the start of the headline fight and watch that, then the undercard afterwards.

No ad breaks to sit through, fast forwards through the Sky numpties blethering on, and I've found it's considerably more enjoyable to watch the big fights over bacon sarnies, then through a blur of booze and sleep deprivation.
