McCloskey calls out Judah, Maidana, Bradley and Alexander

Sorry Paul but that is four defeats including two painful knockouts! It looks as though you might have to lower your expectations for a bit mate old chap! I have even heard he wants a piece of Prescott?! No chance!! Bredis looked really good in his last fight again Jardal. There is a rumour Prescott has gone up to 147 anyway.

I think someone like Kaizer Mabuza would be good for him to get his reputation up and in line for another shot. Or Lamont Petersen would be another good fight for him, if Matchroom can take either over.

Good shout! Maybe the loser of Matthysse and Alexander? I still rate Alexander highly despite his defeat against Bradley. I wouldn't stick him (P Mc) in with Kendall Holt either.....

Saying that though I really fancy Judah to beat Khan! He would be odds against too.

When is Ajose Olusegun up next?

Just because Paul fought for a world title diznae mean he belongs in world class. He seems like a sensible guy he should go back to European level and get himself into contention.

Seconded.

He should re-group with British, Commonwealth and European titles, beat a top American and THEN ask for another title fight, but be on a winning streak of 6-odd since the Khan loss. Too many fighters think that by fighting for world honours it means they belong in world class from then-onwards.

Good luck to him though, hope he can get active and get back to winning ways.

Kendall Holt? don't you like McCloskey much then? Holt is no easy touch he has the power to KO any at the weight.

Tend to agree. Seems a sensible lad. Might be an idea to stick to Euro's for another fight or 2 and then push on again.

I don't know if McCloskey can afford to stay at Euro level much longer if he wants to fight for a world title again as he's 31. So you can't blame the guy for looking for the big fights. He's a fighter and he'll believe he's good enough.
