................well I'm from Sheffield, and I have nothing but good things to say about Dave.
In fact the comments made by the new poster sum up what I was saying in my first post.
Dave has done extremely well, despite people placing obstacles in his way.
How sad to see someone enrol just to have a pop. Get a life.

Whilst never met Dave Coldwell properly, I have him on twitter and that and from interviews, his column, all stuff like that I find him one of the best if not the best people in boxing at the minute - proper class act, got a lot of respect for Dave.

Don't know as much about Dean Powell - but he's originally from Dudley so he can't be all bad haha

Met Dean Powell in Belfast when Damian Kelly topped.I was helping a pal out vs Brian Magee found him to be a straight guy and loved to talk boxing and found him most interesting. Bumped into him a few years later at a funeral and it was like an old pal greeting me. Helped Dave out with a couple of his amateurs some time ago before Hayemaker etc. Struck me as a very hardworking guy, who while not every1s cup of tea never did our gym a bad turn and i think the guy can read a fight/fighter really well.
