Steve we are trying to get as many licence holders together for the boards AGM june 15th in Manchester We got a few things we need us all to stick together on like increase in licence fees as well as some other things that need addressing Miranda Carter has wrote a brilliant letter to the board On behalf of smaller promoters Even the big promoters are sending reps and we all supporting each other I know you will be there but can you try you best to get all the licence holders you work with to come as well cheers Steve Good article in BM too Jane

so what exactly is going on with this , theres just been a vague reference to it on ringside but i dont really know what it is , anyone care to enlighten me .

I set up a union for licence holders www.thebfu.com Its free to join and have the backing of a firm of solictors So if ANY licence holder has a problem with the board The BFU will represent them In light of a few receent problems with bad decisions fighters getting overlooked for titles Fees going up Things like that and its seems to have gone from strength to strength The court case i cant say too much about but its a licence holder that feels he has been badly treated by the board.Miranda Carter who is doing great small hall shows and keeping the boxers busy has written a great letter to the board and it has upset a few people at the board Steve Wood has spent thousands doing small hall promoting as i have myself Dave Coldwell and many many others So the board AGM is June 15th and normally no body turns up to these meeting as its a waste of time the board do what they want to do But this year we are getting as many licence holders as we can there and have a Big name in the sport representing us I have spoken to 3 big promoters and the are all on side

Agree what is being proposed is not fair or acceptable , we need a solution.
