Judah looks like a much better fighter since Pernell Whitaker started in his corner. I think Khan will outwork him, but it's not out of the realms of possiblity that Judah might catch him clean with a power shot and put him away. I'm really looking forward to the fight.

Yup. He was starting to look a bit knackered to me until he landed the finisher Moony. A better defence, yes, but he was still relatively easy to catch — and at times I thought he looked hurt. But he's a dangerous guy, no problem, that's why I think Khan should play it safe. He wouldn't be able to take Judah's power flush, no way.

Judah definitely had that 'work in progress' look about him. I just wonder if it's an old dog/new tricks scenario, whether he can go the whole hog at this stage in his career. Interesting fight though isn't it, more so than a lot of people will give it credit for I think.

I couldn't agree more. I think in some ways Khan is still learning and if he gets hits hard and clean, then he may get a little gun shy. Judah has always been a touch chinny, but I think his experience and newly found defensive skills make this a really interesting fight. I just hope it doesn't turn into too much of a chess match.

bearing in mind how khan struggled with the southpaw mckloskey im surprised at how so many think khan wins this fight. judah is very experienced, has excellent power and at 33 will still be the fastest boxer that khan has faced. i think judah will mess him about bigtime then knock him out

You always know what you'll get with Judah. If he doesn't get Khan out of there in the first 5 rounds he'll probably lose.

I noticed a big change in the approach of Judah when he stopped Mabuza last time out.

Rather than shoot straight out the blocks like greased lightening, looking like Floyd Mayweather in a bad mood - before gassing like a 60-a day marlboro fan....

...he was actually extremely patient, picked his shot very well, waited for his opportunities and took them with gusto. The big difference was that he is now being mentored by Pernell Whittaker, rather than his father. His attitude has simmered down and he fights with less emotion and more thought.

I've long wondered why he left 140. Perhaps Tszyu simply flushed him out, but his size and frame was always that of a light-welterweight and not a full blown welter.

If Khan laboured and failed be effective against Paul McCloskey, then that has to be considered here. Sure he spars the best southpaw on the planet - but that's with a crash helmet on plus pillows on his hands.

I wouldn't rule out Khan's legs getting seriously stiffened in this fight, because Judah has pedigree. His problem has always been harnessing it in the correct manner. With his new son, his new faith & religion and his new attitude to his career, that he realises is in it's final chapter - he will not be cutting corners for this one. No way.

You are not MrP, I just wonder how long Judah can make that night at this stage in his career. He's had some hard fights and I think of him as an old 33.
