Price is a giant heavyweight who very few could even get through the ropes with.Grainger can take his money and go home, the name of the game isnt it?He was never going to win,no matter what he did.The only people who can give Price rounds are top 5,and thats not going to happen,yet...Carlos-Wigan wrote:Grainger isn't a bad fighter at all but he is a cruiserweight and Price can punch if nothing else.
I think Price will find his level in the pro ranks soon enough - give him credit though - he was a massive
'overachiever' as an amateur and won everything that mattered - ABA's, commonwealth games and olympic
medals so fair play to him.

sort ya head out pal !!Jab and Move wrote:I am officialy announcing that David Price's last opponet was the worst boxer I have ever seen. Another opponent brought in by Maloney proves no test whatsoever.
Price landed a very soft left hook on the guys glove and he fell to the floor. It didnt even touch his head. He got up, then got blew out by a body shot.
When are these promoters going to bring someone slightly tougher to the table?
Re: David Price's last opponent
At the time this thread was created Price was fighting poor opposition, so I can understand the frustrations of the OP. Price has stepped it up, however, and if he beats McDermott he will have accomplished more in his first 11 bouts than most other prospects.
