People keep saying its Hopkins but I thought Archie Moore was the oldest at 48

There is a debate about his birth year. Boxrec has it as 1916, which makes Hopkins the oldest. Other reports have his birth year as 1913, which makes Moore the oldest.... so its really a mystery.

Mystery surrounds Moore's early career and even his birthdate. He claimed to have been born in 1916; his mother said it was 1913. Most authorities accept his mother's version.

1: Age when they challenged and won for it
2: Age when they defending it.
3: The Sanctioning Bodies in question
