As you know we all read these forums and sometimeswe think you lot do not realy know what's going on or what us promoters have to put up with to make fights and to get everyone on the same side, So to show you how bloody hard this job has become over the years i am inviting all members of this forum to sent there name and email address to our office and we will have a draw and the lucky winner can come and spent 2 or 3 weeks working with us putting a show together so you can come back on here and tell our side of working in the boxing world. This is open to every forum member other than any one who works for a TV promoter.We will ask if the draw can be done on ringside or at the boxing news office so everyone knows is was a fair draw you have until the end of June to get your form name and email address into us .

I've not really seen many of your posts before a couple of days ago Des but that is really rude; there're people who'd love to see how things get done, it'd make their year. Frank Maloney wouldn't do it if he weren't decent, it is a nice gesture and will make someone very happy; what's the beef?

Why would i get a teaboy to come on here any why i am able to make my own tea i have 2 hands like anyone else who works for or with me. Some times i wonder why i come on here when i read some of the rude things wrote about us promoters, but i believe is very good to inter act with the armchair fans as well as those who go to shows. And the person who come to see how we work will be able to come on here and tell you that i can make and get my own tea .

Great chance for some1- cant see the negatives really or an agenda, what i do see is i couldn't be a promoter cos my head gasket would have blown already with the petty and rude comments. The reason FM probably invited a dedicated boxing fan is to give em an insight into the true workings of a boxing promotion and how you pull a show round when it starts to fall apart etc. Easiest thing in the world to matchmake on paper.

Think this is a great opportunity for the right person.
I have been a bit critical on this forum of your match making for david price so it would be a good opportunity to shut me up along with quite a few others on this site!
To be honest all was forgiven when you matched price with butler and then mcdermott and myself and 3 mates will all be attending your show on saturday at the olympia.
I'm unable to apply due to work commitments but look forward to seeing how the boxrec apprentice maps out!
