Agreed although i don't think Dallas would have been thrown in like this if he'd looked better against Page, maybe Frank just gave up on building him up and just wants to concentrate on Price.

Yea i'd imagine the money on offer to dallas to save the show was far much more than he'd ever earned before as a pro.
Is it still a title eliminator?

No one is getting thrown in Dallas team took the fight when others turn it down, I believe credit should be giving to Dallas for taking it someone,s 0 will go and a lost is not the end of anyone's career. Boxing needs fights like this to get back on the back pages of newspapers. Credit to both fighters. They are real fighters

Well said Frank. I think it'll be a close one. Just coz Dallas struggled with Zack Page, don't mean he can't beat Page.

Good fight saving opponent in my view, nothing wrong with this fight for me. Dallas steps up in class on paper and skills but the kid can bang and we know David has been over many times
in the amateurs. That having been said I think Price will win but a 3 round barnburner is not impossible here.

Going to be a tough one for Dallas now I reckon especially on his last display. Surely this is just as exciting as the McDermott fight. Two prospects knowing defeat is certainly a step backwards.

The winner to fight either Chis or Fury, might see the two losers square off against each other as well if the performances warrant it.

I fancy Price by decent KO. Hope it's a little cracker!

Just an aside relating to another thread where FM is inviting 1 lucky person the chance to work in his offices as a prize. Although a lot have thought it was a good idea quite a few have slagged it. In defence i wrote how good it would be for 'joe public' to see the art of saving a show and cutting through all the bollox at late notice to make quality fights, imagine the atmosphere in that office as FM got the call to say big mac was out and then the euphoria as they saved the show with a very credible opp!!!!

Wow! Fair play to all concerned! Including Sky, who I'm sure must have put on a bit of pressure for a decent replacement. But I really didn't expect stablemates, brave move FM!

I agree Glyn. I don't think Dallas' performance against Zack Page is relevant to this fight. Page's style is a polar opposite to that of Price. I think Price could be in for a rough night.
