Re: Prizefigher round by round
Anyone know what happens if it's level on the cards after 3 rounds?
Re: Prizefigher round by round
Great round Witter, fair play. had McIntyre really wobbled early then got him with the body shot.

Never known such a lack of atmosphere at Prizefighter before.
El Maachi vs Witter would make a good final though.

Witter not caring about how he looks is exactly why he is in something liek proze fighter, you are in the entertainment business so you need to entertain

Re: Prizefigher round by round
30-27 Witter.
Re: Prizefigher round by round
Witter comfortable there and eased off last round. All depends what happens in the other semi but Witter looks confident and in ok nick so justified as favourite.
Re: Prizefigher round by round
I disagree Witter is saving his energy for the final & hoping that his freshness can lead to him walking away with £32 in his arse pocket!lefthook82 wrote:Witter not caring about how he looks is exactly why he is in something liek proze fighter, you are in the entertainment business so you need to entertain
Re: Prizefigher round by round
£32 isnt much id rather finish 2nd and get £16,000pyenest77 wrote:I disagree Witter is saving his energy for the final & hoping that his freshness can lead to him walking away with £32 in his arse pocket!lefthook82 wrote:Witter not caring about how he looks is exactly why he is in something liek proze fighter, you are in the entertainment business so you need to entertain

Re: Prizefigher round by round
Glad I took Witter on at 12-5 before the start with the bookies and had a sneaky tenner on him. He looks in good shape just hope that cut doesn't open up early in the final but should be all right, doesn't look that bad.
Re: Prizefigher round by round
Agreed he's hardly selling himself to the public unless he does something special in the final. If he wins the final i just hope he dosen't make a fool of himself and start calling out Khan, Mayweather or Pac.lefthook82 wrote:Witter not caring about how he looks is exactly why he is in something liek proze fighter, you are in the entertainment business so you need to entertain
A Fight against Kel Brook would be interesting though.

Re: Prizefigher round by round
Me neither, must have been some weird Sheffield-ism. 'Half me two' or something.allahsnackbar wrote:what was witters answer to ed robinsons quesiotn of who he'd like to fight? i couldnt understand
Re: Prizefigher round by round
Has Junior Witter only started this laconic, shit talking in interviews or did he always do it but I never noticed? His interview on Buncey's podcast last Thursday was crazy, he sounded wasted.
Re: Prizefigher round by round
The former IBO champion of the woooooooorrrrrlllllddddd

Re: Prizefigher round by round
Horrible fight so far. Very close 1st rd although think Lynes just knicked it.

Couldn't El Maachi get some longer shorts? I can still see his ankles
Re: Prizefigher round by round
Messy opener, I just shaded it to El Maachi thought he landed a few better shots, Lynes didnt really land much at all tho looked tidy enough still.
