Poor final but I'm glad Maachi won, he just about deserved it. I fell about laughing when Witter went out of the ring!

That wierd left hand flapping thing that Witter does is awful, just awful. Does he think he's a snake?

Hope so, tonight was like his whole career - promising in little moments but never really did enough to entertain and failed when it really counted.

That was more a circus act than a boxing match

Witter should consider retiring for good now, he is done at the highest level. Can you imagine Witter over the 12 rounds stretch now? He was gassed in the 3'rd fight.

Overall, I think El Maachi deserved the nod. He landed the better shots on Witter! The Lynes fight was questionable but depends what you like.

Will be interesting to see where the El Maachi goes from here, he can be exciting to watch.

One of the least entertaining prizefighters tonight and that final was just pathetic, Most blokes could sink 20 pints and stay on there feet longer than them pair.

witter was legitimately knocked down in the first also. El Maachi deserved the decision. I actually enjoyed the night of boxing and won some dough also!

Well I won money on El Macchi but this should have been Lynes tournament. Jeez, will someone tell/show El Macchi to use his right hand. The one time he actually throws a punch with it, he knocks down Witter. He obviously has some talent but his lack of fundamentals is horrible to watch. He'll look decent against basic come forward fighters but against anyone who can box his glaring lack of fundamentals will be exposed.

After seeing Jimmy Colas on his W column I think I overestimated the man. Congrats to him though - he seems like he's had problems getting fights.

What a load of boll*cks. The final was a wrestling match and El Machi beat Witter 2 falls to 1. One fall was on top of a cameraman. El Machi shouldnt even have been in the final, no way did he beat Colin Lynes. Poor Colin was robbed, a terrible decision. Worst Prizefighter ever staged. Witter and El Machi were sh1t and the best fighter on the bill, Colin Lynes had his chance of winning the title taken away from him by bad judges. A really bad night of boxing as far as I am concerned.

I join the crowd of those who thought Lynes was robbed of a victory there in the semis, and I fancied him to beat Witter in the final too.....

All you regular posters know I have said Yassine will come good and last night he proved he can mix it with the best.

He had only 13 days full hard training after being ill and unable to train in the build-up to the competition. He still had the ability to go out there and win tho. If he was 100% you would have seen a sharper stronger El Maachi who would of ripped through the lot.

Whilst being at York Hall I thought he has lost to Lynes but watching it back on TV Ignoring the biased mugs from sky he landed a lot more cleaner shots that dint even get talked about! Well done Yassine we all knew you could dot it! :D

Oh and a rematch with Lynes could happen if there are no bigger and better fights on the horizon!
