Post by Ramon3MR »

Speaking to the press this week during his training camp, Klitschko says Haye isn't a bad guy, but has simply lost his mind lol

I think Haye should get a prosthetic head of Wladimir complete with bit of spine etc and carry it to the ring with him.

That would wind up the big man.

I can't wait for this fight. It's going to be a hell of a feeling when the bell rings for round one. I like Wladimir, he comes accros as an intelligent, kind and polite guy. But... COME ON HAYE!!!

Does anyone think Haye should do a Peter McNeely and just charge at Wlad from the off?

Wlad will almost certainly have planned for a sedate start, and would be surprised by an aggressive opener from Haye. For Haye to ruffle his feathers from the go could be alarming for Wlad.

It is very high risk - Haye could easily walk into one.

The fact that Haye didn't try and charge someone as meek and terrified as Audley - suggests to me that strategy is very unlikely to be seejn from Haye.

But he didn't need to against Audley, he knew he could finish it when he wanted to.

Against Wlad, the importance of putting the bigger man in his shell early doors can't be overstated. If Haye gets a big start and wins the psychological battle he can step in with some big shots.

I don't think the above is likely to happen, but I can't help but think the longer the cat and mouse game goes on the more chance Wlad has to establish that jab and make it so tough for Haye.

Wlad's getting obliterated, this fight isn't even close. Haye wins 9 out of 10 times IMO

This is why I think it's such a tough ask - go in there blazing early, and run the risk of getting chinned and knocked out early doors, or play it cagey and get pummelled with that battering ram jab and broken down.

I think Haye's camp must have analysed Wlad to try and find away inside past that jab that doesn't involve leaving yourself vulnerable.

Trouble is, Wlad's not a bad mover for a big lad, he's going to have his own ideas when Haye tries to close that gap by slipping or ducking under the jab.

This fight is 50/50, 60/40 at best. Anyone who thinks it's an easy fight for either, just doesn't know what they're talking aboot IMHO.

There is only one way to play darts. Name me a great chess player that plays the same strategy every game.
