I was at the fight, it's not quite how I remember it.

Haye threw 300 punches in the first 30 seconds, Carl rocked and rolled and didn't take much cleanly, then haye stopped punching, Carl started, towel came in to save Haye an unnecssary beating

Haye "I fought like a prick"

Had to look up Haye's record to make sure I hadn't missed a rematch somewhere !!

A blessing in disguise, as in Khan-Prescott and hopefully De Gale-Groves.

Boxing Monthly, my favourite publication had a big spread for Haye Klitschko and the image in the middle reads for the "WBC, WBO and WBA titles" - that is an unforgivable error. As much as I love the mag and the writers, that shit is basic!

It is, but it DOES happen in most major publications on a fairly routine basis. People get sloppy, editors miss stuff.

I accept it as a common occurance in newspapers (much to my annoyance, however). But without being pedantic, errors like that should not happen in the trade press. As dbf quite rightly states, its very basic stuff.

I appreciate, that they are under pressure with deadlines etc and things can be missed, but it was there for everyone to see in the middle of the page. Maybe I'm just being pedantic and enjoy spotting mistakes.
