I think the initial criticisms of Floyd's run down was a bit harsh. Was Hatton really the smaller guy, all throughout the build up Sky were commenting how much bigger Hatton looked.

Also "don't make me laugh about Baldomir" was the lineal #1 champion at 147 and the WBC fighter of the year. He won a series of eliminators to get the shot at Judah, beat Judah and defended against Gatti.

Gatti = shot??? Sure his performances post Mayweather were poor but his performances previous to that were impressive, he was going through a rich run of form. I've no doubt that the Mayweather fight aged him. Might aswell add DLH shot then also, cause his performances post Mayweather were poor, Hatton shot also - cause 2 of his 3 fights post Mayweather were por.

Exactly. Hopkins is a pensioner when spoken about alongside Joe yet 75% of people on here would tip him to beat Froch!

Would help if you quote the whole sentence

i.e. "He was a 21-0 belt holder of a very poor division. He was worse than a has-been as he was a never-was."

This is what I can't understand too.

IMHO, Mayweather is the one guy with the tools & the skill to beat Pacquiao, so why all the claptrap from him?

He obviously doesn't have the belief in himself, otherwise the fight would have happened 2 years ago.

Mayweather is a wonderful fighter, but he is getting rather boring these days & it's got to the point where I no longer care whether he fights Pacquiao or not.

If he wants to be a celebrity boxer & just fight against hand picked opponents every 18 months or so, that's his perogative; but he should shut up about Manny whilst doing so.
