I agree mate, I'm just petrified of em :-( I will be the first to say that we need Olympic style testing in all professional or high class fights in professional boxing! Should be a mandatory thing in title fights! Testing before and after the fight! The thought of someone cheating drives me nuts
Saw your press-conference on Sky, mate. I forgot how big that shot was that had you over - it could've chopped a tree down. Your chin must be steel-like.

Tony ''the wavertree juicehead'' bellew :KO:
Joking aside though tony it must be a great feeling for yourself to be headlining a big show in your home town at one of the best arenas in the country?
I would imagine all the years of hard work are starting to feel it worth it now?

trick is to be angry at his comments to spur you on in training, but then dont take that anger into the ring with you. he's trying to get you angry so you go wading in trying to take his head off, which would play into his hands. he's confident that he downed you twice before so he wants you to walk onto one again. you are the better boxer, use his comments to make you train harder - be calm on fight night and you will take him out.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll give George a ring tell him he can have his whistle an flute back ;-)

I know I'm becoming an attraction in Liverpool, I must stress though that I am not top of the bill, that belongs to world champion Ricky Burns and fantastic challenger Nicky Cook! It's an honour to fight on the bill of 2 brilliant fighters..

I'm training really hard, sparring is going great and I'll leave nothing to chance ;-)

I'll be giving out a boxing lesson come July 16th, Ovill will be the one to made look stupid and foolish!

Thank you again people ;-)

Even my missus knows who you are, and she knows nothing about boxing. Hence, about 2 weeks ago she asked if Froch could fight Khan.

That "you fookin rat" statement has done wonders for you.

Get rid of the Bomber signature.

Toooooooooony "you FOOKIN' rattttttttttttttt"" Beeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew.

"it's not right that you bounced back up off the floor and your eyes were clear" , "you should be checked by the boxing board of control??"

This is what I've had to put up with today! He said he it wasn't right that my eyes were clear so I must be on drugs! I went on to tell him that I'm the cleanest athlete he'll ever fight and that it was a testament to my heart, conditioning and fighting spirit! He had no answer for that!!

I'll ram these disgusting accusations down his throat come July 16th! Does he not remember that were both tested before we fight the small minded clown! He's bringing our sport down with such stupid accusations :-( not right :-(

Rise above it Bomber. Although you could have come back with...... "By the time I finish with him, he'll look like he's been taking sleeping pills." :DD

I remember chris eubank saying something similar about micheal watson after their first fight and when questioned about it later he said he meant it as a compliment to the strenght and conditioning of watson.

It's actually a great card for Liverpool, one I'd definitely be going to if it was on in London.

Haha, he is getting his excuses in early this time before he gets knocked out badly. He knows you will not make the same early mistakes as last time and he is nowhere near as good as you.

I say knock him out late in the 12th so he can be punished all the way through, he deserves it for chattin shit like that.

Tony,Ovil is a joker,Look at him ,superb muscular physique and strong, and you could fill in for the milky bar kid,you dont have a defined muscle on your body! But strength comes in many forms,if anyone should come under the suspicion of using drugs it would be him.

I have never heard of a drug that can make you recover from a knockdown, steroids may build strength and mass in the neck area, traps and shoulders, which would reduce the head jerking violently, with causes the knockout,Evander Holyfield is one example( after all he defeated Tyson) ,but no way do u take steroids looking at your physique and if you did they aren't working lol.
Ovil is a disgrace to the sport making accusations like that knowing full well that title fights are drug tested and you guys are now randomly tested.
