This is turning out to be a decent card of competitive match ups. I hope Primetime will show them all.

AMIR Khan threatened to knock a race-hate fiend “spark out” after he abused him on Twitter.

Amir Khan had been ranting about the amount of abuse he had received on the site when the insults started flying.

Khan, WBA world super lightweight champion, moaned he has had to block more than 1,000 people from accessing his Tweets.

He said he wished he could meet one person he had banned face-to-face because he would “spark him out”.

“F*** all the haters,” he wrote. “Up2 now iv blocked over 1000 people. I wish 1 day I meet a person iv blocked bcuz I wud spark him out + they would no y.”

The comment brought an instant reply from one contributor which read: “What a P*ki c***.”

“Angry Amir fired back: ‘F*** u too, did I call you a Sikh b******? No u nob.”

The pair then swapped verbal blows into the early hours. Bolton-born Amir, who was Britain’s youngest Olympic boxing medallist at 17, has just missed out on a big- money fight with double world champion Timothy Bradley, 27.

A close pal of the fighter said: “Amir loves Twitter because he it keeps him directly in touch with his friends and fans. But sadly it also allows twisted angry people to get in touch too.

“It’s a really easy thing to do to send a vile message to someone from behind the safety of a computer screen.

“None of these guys would have the balls to say anything like it to his face. They’d been looking down from Row Z!

“It won’t put Amir off Twitter but he doesn’t like the abuse and doesn’t see what he’s done to provoke it.”

I tell you what, that is quite a good card. Cayo - Peterson will be fun, the main event is wicked imo (or will be until Judah loses his confidence &/or his legs, so maybe only for six rounds or so), & Joel Julio vs Smith should be competitive until Julio splatters him.

Hmm. Okay, so maybe not that exciting, but it's a fvckload better than Khan-McCloskey or Haye-Harrison fer instance.
