Big Brother to Big Time ????

Post by damianhucker1 »

Former Big Brother contestant JJ Bird will be making his comeback on the undercard of the Mitchell/Murray bout , where he will face Matt Scriven according to the twitter account of dean powell , Anyone know how hes likely to do now hes under descent guidance , dont know who he was promoted / managed by before but he has a 5-5-2 record despite some saying he is a descent enough boxer , was he badly managed , is he just not too good ?

Opinions ?

Hope he wasnt badly managed as Dean is and was his manager. Think he was managed fine but without the backing of a major promoter JJ was happy to fit the above average journeyman mould. He is talented - rangy with fast hands - beat Dave Walker and plenty of close defeats on away shows so if Frank is behind him now he could yet achieve sonething.

Going by his record he dont look bad, beating Dean Walker even if he was'nt at his best is an achivement.. Losing to Steve O'Meara and Dale Miles by only a round 39-38 he would of been in the opponents Corner...

Depends what role JJ wanted, if it was to be out alot and didnt mind being in the opponents then it was'nt bad Managing, if JJ did mind but Dean just wanted to get him out and take his 25% then it was.....
