ibhof weekend ed brophy needs to go

Post by joejet »

this was my 15th year at the IBHOF for induction weekend. every event was over sold and NONE of the fighters and inductees were made available to the public for photos or signings. at the boxing golf tourney, security is at the max. less than 100 people attend this event yet no Stallone, Tziu, Tyson, or Chavez?
Same with the VIP Cocktail reception. I do this to get a chance to shake a hand, get a glove signed or a picture w a fighter i respected and followed.
Ed ..YOU NEED TO WAKE UP!
It was horrendous that you took our $ and tossed out he fighters who actaully LOVE being there and enjoying the fans.
Special thanks to leon Spinks, ,marvin Hagler, and countless others who signed hour after hour all weekend...BUT IT DOESNT MAKE UP FOR THE FACT THAT THE BIG NAMES WERE HIDDEN FROM THE PUBLIC

I spoke to my friends, they confirmed what you said but that the guys who were available (mostly in the restaurant across the way) were great, even Don King at one point. There were a lot of "minders" around.
