From all accounts Khan is a good guy - always ready to sign stuff for fans and kids etc.... He's reportedly not the sharpest tool in the box though; and prone to a few ill-advised remarks.

Twitter/Facebook is great for celebs reaching out personally to fans (and h8trs of course!) but is a goldmine for the traditional press and a field of landmines for the former.

Actually I think that the new media makes has made people in the spotlight appear more human; and thus appear more fallible. I think this may be a positive thing in many ways - we are less judgmental.

I don't think any less of Khan by these sort of 'Tweets'; I just think it shows him, despite his enormous talent, as the slightly naive youngster he is. I prefer this in many ways to a sterile Oscar De La Hoya PR expert (tranvestite photos aside :D )
