Wlad/Haye

I am completely sober but Haye will OBLITERATE Wlad.

Mark my fornicating word, peeps.

And I will be bringing this thread back to life July 3rd.

If Haye loses 4 of the first 6 rounds and then stops Wlad in the seventh, does that qualify as an obliteration?

Depends on the manner of the stoppage.

I think people are buying into Hayes talk a bit much.

I don't think Haye is in the same league as Wlad, Wlad is a level above and if Haye does win its gonna be by some lucky wild punch.

Wlad wins this 9 times out of 10, he is a vastly harder puncher, he has better skills, more experience at HW and will be the more confident fighter on the night, forget Haye's talk, if anyone will be entering the fight with some reservations it will be Haye.

Wlad is gonna leave alot of Brits dissapointed when he KO's Haye.

I don't think there is anything to really backup the idea that Haye is the best opponent he has faced, based on who Haye's fought at HW, I think there were many other fighters Wlad has beat that had much better resumes than Haye.

Haye has knocked some HW's down but they get back up, Wlad Knocks people down and they usually stay down, Haye does not have anywhere near the punch power of Wlad.

I don't mind who wins, hoping for a good fight but i'm just not buying into all the talk and hype and I view Hayes chances as very little.

We'll see, but so far Haye has fought 1 C level past his best Barrett, Valuev who should have lost to Holyfield, John Ruiz who was a long way past his best and a domestic HW in Harrison, hardly qualifies him as Wlad's best opponent hes faced.

Wlad lands that right hand once and it's game over. Wlad lands that left hook once and it's game over.

There are about 6 different ways Wlad wins this fight, and only one way he can lose it. Thing is, Haye doesn't have the natural one-punch power of a Sanders or a Brewster.

He has a 1 in 20 chance, basically. At best.

One of the biggest pile of bullshit I have read on here. I stand to be corrected after the fight of course, but imho people seem to be building up Klitschko as some sort of god, he is in my eyes a decent champion but he is there to be taken out by someone with speed and with a bit more skill.

Haye's SKILL is very under-rated, Kltschko's SKILL is very over-rated, he is a basic fighter, he fights off a jab-right jab-jab-right and that's about it. He's too stiff to really roll and bob and get any really decent hooks going, not compared to someone quite fluid like Haye.

I have a feeling Booth is gona come up with a decent plan here and we could at least see a very even fight. 1 in 20 chance of winning? Deary me.

i dnt think the fight will go past 4. I'm predicting a haye stoppage, but its a tough won to be certain on. im like 55% on this but its slowly getting growing to 60% as i re-watch their last fights

The laughable thing, is that you all basing these predictions on fights against Valuev, Ruiz and Audley Harrison.

Don't get your hopes up guys. Wlad may be predictable but he's knocked out far tougher guys than David Haye with one left hook. If John Ruiz can land on him, Wladimir Klitschko certainly can, and more frequently. And Wlad hits ten times harded than Ruiz. David's probably going to get seriously hurt next Sat.

HBO's Face-off. Interesting viewing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6_ChpMcuT8

I think Haye gets the upper hand. Wlad is clearly riled.

I can't remember Wlad eveb throwing a left-hook. Jab, jab, turn around, jab jab, hold, jab, then when the opponent is well beaten or falling back, Wlad throws that straight right. Haye will prowl around Wlad, then when Wlad put's that jab out, Haye's speedy right will loop over the top. As soon as Wlad gets hit, he's like a little bunny rabbit. Wlad will go down, get back up on very dodgy legs, Haye will go for the kill, and get it. Haye might even take a few jabs and miss with the right, but Wlad never throws that straight right before round 6 anyways, and I don't think Haye can be knocked out with a jab when he'll be moving backwards. It'll look a lot like the Sanders fight.

I come across as a troll in this thread, but peeps on here know that I don't always talk shit, and have never posted such an outcome of a fight, especially regarding an underdog, with such CERTAINTY before. I felt that Haye would KO Wlad back in 09, and I am even more certain that he'll do it now.

If I had any money, it'd be going on a Haye KO.

You're 100%. I didn't think Haye could affect Wlad as much as he has done. Kudos to Haye.

Big difference when Haye fights someone who will stick a jab in his face all night. There is a reason why Klitschko opponents go in their shell after that jackhammer (jab) is engraved in their face.

Haye hasn't fought anyone with a pulse at heavyweight yet. This is a MASSIVE step up in opposition.

Some people will be very disappointed post fight. Wlad isn't the type who gets knocked out by one punch and Haye isn't the great finisher he's made out to be.

I'd like to see Haye beat Wlad. But realistically Wlad has the experience and skill to beat Haye. I expect Haye to have his moments early on, with Wlad having some hairy moments, but he'll gradually get stronger as the rounds pass.

Wlad by technical knock out in the 9'th.

I think people don't give enough credit to the Klitschko's, I agree its sometimes frustrating to watch such a big guy be overly cautious but it reminds me of Lewis/Tua, it takes skill to dominate opponents like that and not get decked in the process, if you know you have a problem taking big shots you fight accordingly and Wlad has done that for a long time now with great success, it may not be so entertaining to watch but credit is still deserved.

Yeah who's wlad fought and beat? chagaev is the best opponent on the list. I think most would rate haye higher than chag as an opponent.

Name me a live opponent wlad has faced recently that we would consider anything other than c class.

Haye is by far the best opponent wlad has faced. Wlad himself is predicting he will ko haye in the 12th. He still thinks he's going in the ring with some fat, slow, tough fighter. He's not he's going in with the fastest, smallest heavyweight in the world, who just so happens to be one of the most powerful punchers in the world too match.
