Oldhams Mark Heffron won on Saturday night with a 3rd round ko over Spains David Pulido on the Casey V Rigondeux u/card.
Miguel boxed well and had his opponent down at the end of rd 2 .
He picked his shots well and showed great composure in finishing his opponent 1 min 11 sec into rd 3 . Mark Moves on to 5-0 .

Good stuff! Both the Heffron brothers seem to be doing very well. Excellent amateur pedigree and the future looks bright for them.

Your allowed to if you had no more than 3 or 4 fights(cant remember which one) Just checked his record hes had 5pro bouts,so cant box as amatuer...

Lets hope that Gary Hyde or someone in PR brings something out in the media soon to shed some light on where Mark is in his career atm.

I read that last year. Its something to do with Heffrons Grand parents being Irish, so he applied to the Irish board for a license, now he can get a license from the BBBoC.
