R5: 50-44

Similiar pattern unfolding - quiet opening minute until Alvarez starts unloading the bodyshots and uppercut combos. Bodyshots must be starting to take toal on Rhodes who is doing zilch at the mo.

Does Canelo seem like he is breathing a bit heavy?

Ryan has to open up, he wont win unless he starts to hit him.

but he's looking better now.

Much better, but Rhodes probably lost the round.

R6: 60-53

Rhodes had good start to that round but once again was outworked over the 3 minutes. SA has a lovely left hook to the body.

I'm hoping Canelo tires!! Definitely not the same fighter on the back foot, when Ryan steps in he has success.

Seven was probably Ryan's best round, but he still took a beating and his face is a mess now too

this is one fight where the old Ingle style would have worked.

R7: 70-62 SA

SA didn't allow Rhodes to capatilise on any success he had in R6. Hopped on Rhodes straight away with bodyshots and uppercuts. Rhodes landed few nice jabs. Achieiving nothing by switching southpaw.

Eight was bad for Rhodes. Looking like he will get stopped.

I think Rhodes is more tired, accumulation of shots taking their toll

Rhodes did nothing in that round. Easy round for Alvarez.

R10: 100-89 SA

Rhodes can't land more than one punch at a time and Alvarez is still hurling in the combos. Can't help but fell Rhodes is there for the taking in the last two rounds.

Rhodes showing more urgency and landing a bit more but still outworked. Going to be a whitewash by the looks of it.
