There was a thread this week questioning Maloney's place in the Sky schedules, but this is very poor.

Sky are to blame too though in terms of the broadcast. With the opponents on offer they should have done 3 live fights with J Murray, Crolla and M Murray

Worst for me - even the pundits look bored. Just meaningless fights....

Believe Barney Francis At SKY Is Telling All Promoters To Deliver Better Quality Fights. Unfortunately Alot Of Fighters Are From Europe With Good Records On Paper. But Most Of Them Couldnt Break An Egg. So I Applaud Barney. Is Way Of Thinking Will Save The Sport. Once A Upon A Time Boxing Was Big News In The Daily Newspapers. These Days There May Be 3 Or 4 Lines On The Very Last Sports Page. I Can See Things Changing With Chisora v Fury Murray v Mitchell Hall v Mc Donnell. Think The Promoters Are Getting Some Push From Barney Rubble. Adios.

8 fight novices fighting for dual titles, including the Lonsdale? Not great, really.

Absolutely appalling show. I didnt realise Sky had taken to showing live Bullying on Saturday nights. A shame really as Sky do seem to be trying with boxing, and have delivered some decent competitive bouts lately, but this was a shambles and was the epitome of everything that is wrong with British Boxing.

Apparently the board had rejected Danny butler as an opponent for Murray. Surely him or smigga must fight Murray next

Not a good show I agree, can't say I was bothered by any of the fights just a bunch of ticking over fights and a relatively poor main event. Surprised they let a 20 year old with only 8 fights in for a British title fight tbh.

When I looked at the bill it looked poor fayre. Hatton really needs to test his boxers if he wants to retain the fans.

That card was garbage, not a single competitive fight on it. Fearon's card looked way more entertaining on paper.

I think he would have been a far better opponent for murray at present. If they want to defend the title 3 times whilst stepping up i would suggest smigga, craig mcewan and danny butler. Or alternatively Andy lee

Craig McEwan and Andy Lee?

And how exactly would he go about either of those?

I said this before Hatton promotions are the worst promotors on sky, they faailed to put on decent undercard for Khan v Mccloskey. There fighters fight for the inter titles. Sky should drop them.

I dont get it. Crolla is the British champion so they put him in with some nondescript for the (permanently) vacant inter continental title.
I am pretty sure that when come to hand out the new contracts they will look long & hard at some of the shit being served up.
Also what is the thing with Hatton & these Georgian fighters admittedly the one last night pulled out, but there has been loads on his cards.

Hatton promotions love the inter titles! Sky should get rid of them and give the other promotors there dates unless the quality improves. Why did Crolla not defend British title!

No the board rejected Butler for The 1st defence of Blackwells English title
Now that I do find unbelievable Danny fights Cadman next for the Southern Area
Title At Supermiddle After he keeps being overlooked at Middle Danny not ready for
British title level yet But area title and English he definitely is

Perhaps you're right.

I don't think the board should allow fighters to milk three easy defences to get the belt outright.

In fact I'd go as far as to say that the board should change the rules and mandate every British title challenger. No voluntary defences at all, it's just an excuse to cherry pick.
