Anyone seen "The Heavy" new brit gangster flick?

Post by Finn »

Only asking because i stumbled upon it last night whilst flicking through sky movies and Gary Stretch is the main star in it.

Quite a good watch as it happened, even more so because you get to see lee ryan from blue being tortured and crying like a girl.

I watched it last night - It's not a bad movie.
I thought Gary Stretch was very good in it. Not so sure about Vinnie Jones' beard!

Gary Stretch has the potential to be a very good actor, forget 'The Heavy' and watch his performance in 'Dead mans shoes' which imo is superb and reminded me of a british Jack Palance. Also he's one of Oliver stones 'favourites' and a brilliant Film Director like that knows talent when he see's it.

Dead man's shoes is a quality film. Paddy Constantine\s performance is brilliant.

Seen Dead Mans Shoes fantastic film - love all Shane Meadows films, Twenty Four Seven (about a boxing club - his first real feature film from 1997) is my favourite.

Stretch is ok in Dead Mans Shoes, does what he needs to like, hardly the hardest character for him to play but he's decent
