Re: Gary buckland
Was wondering what had happened to this kid.
It looked for a while that he had been placed in the ''who needs him'' club by the big uk promoters for looking to good for his own good at the prizefighter show.
Hope he gets a shot at sykes although I seriously doubt it which is a shame.

Re: Gary buckland
The board should have made him mandatory immediately after Prizefighter.
Even though I wanted to see Sykes vs Johanneson, Buckland clearly deserved a shot first.

Re: Gary buckland
Where do you get that notion from Camras? Buckland is ranked higher by the EBU and is with the Hattons whose show Fegatilli won the title on. Think about it.
Both kids want it (I know them both) but if one of them was offered the European who could blame them for taking it? At present Buckland is more likely to fight Fegatilli though.

Well one Maloney said after Sykes last fight that he wanted to move him onto the European, and im not sure they would want to take the fight with BucklandWake up call wrote:Where do you get that notion from Camras? At the time Buckland had not made super feather weight!Camcas wrote:Well one Maloney said after Sykes last fight that he wanted to move him onto the European, and im not sure they would want to take the fight with BucklandWake up call wrote:Where do you get that notion from Camras? Sykes would have fought a rematch the day after Prizefighter if he'd been able to. You mean you're assuming they wouldn't want it.Camcas wrote:Well one Maloney said after Sykes last fight that he wanted to move him onto the European, and im not sure they would want to take the fight with BucklandWake up call wrote:Where do you get that notion from Camras? I might be wrong but buckland has never actually made s/feather and therefore can't box for european.Wake up call wrote:Where do you get that notion from Camras? Buckland is ranked higher by the EBU and is with the Hattons whose show Fegatilli won the title on. Think about it.

Re: Gary buckland
EBU have already ranked him number four. He was 3/4 of a pound over at the weekend. They won't be bothered about that. Scott Lawton had never the weight before he fought for it. They don't care about a pound despite what their rule book might say.boxingfarmer30 wrote:I might be wrong but buckland has never actually made s/feather and therefore can't box for european.Wake up call wrote:Where do you get that notion from Camras?
