GOOD MATCH? GROVES VS PAUL SMITH?
I would like to see this match.
Groves has far more skill and I feelhe would stop Smith in less than 6.
I think we would see a return to the attacking Groves, but maybe more patient.
How do you see this playing out?

Smith is fighting a middleweight now.
When Smigga was British champion he said on this forum he wouldnt fight Groves as there on differant levels&groves has nothing to offer him,if the scouser does go back up in weight the Champion should remember that¬ give him a shot...

I think that is exactly why Groves should give him a shot.Tommy Gunn13 wrote:Smith is fighting a middleweight now.

It's already 2-0 to HAYEMAKER in the allegedly Vs HAYE. Haye beat Enzo. Groves beat Degale.
Lets make it 3-0.

I know it doesn't work like that, however after beating Degale, and what Degale did to Smith it seems a bit pointless. Would be a step down for Groves.

A voluntary and no doubt a money spinner. We would watch it and it would be one notch onthe way to keping the Lonsdale Belt ( He csan come back for the other notches if he wins the world title and loses it) .Deadendgeneration wrote:I know it doesn't work like that, however after beating Degale, and what Degale did to Smith it seems a bit pointless. And a relatively 'safe' win for Groves. Marking time fight where he can try a few new things out due to Smith being fairly one dimensional.
Plus he can steal another march on Degale and allegedly.

Talk about a step backwards
After defeating an Olympic gold medallist he should now aim for Europe and then the world, not to domestic level and a guy now fighting a weight below who seems to have fallen off the face of the planet...

Its a decent fight for the HAYE vs Wlade Undercard ( I KNOW ITS NOT ON THE UNDERCARD).
This would be an amazing atmosphere in Liverpool or O2.
Its not quite a gimme, but I like the fight as a marking time, homecoming ( Earls Court) tyoe of fight. Just my opinion.
Admittedly, yes, Smith has reached his level.

If you're going to shout out that such-and-such has nothing to offer you, and is not in your league, you can hardly cry foul when that person overtakes you, takes what was yours, and accelerates onwards while you fcuk around in a different weight division.
Re: GOOD MATCH? GROVES VS PAUL SMITH?
Smith has moved to middleweight. Groves should fight a Kenny Anderson who not come in at last minute.

Re: GOOD MATCH? GROVES VS PAUL SMITH?
Isn't Brian Magee fighting a very beatable guy for some kind of world title? Magee vs Groves would be good anyway, with a world title - it could be even better.
