Sorry Skipper, i think that must have come out a bit wrong in terms of tone! Was only having a bit of a laugh with you.

Not sure there would be any appetite for a rematch with Jennings because it was such an awful fight. Clash of styles, shall we say ...

You're a swine :)

Awful fight, true, just felt there was unfinished business

Let's see how he does here. A clinical TKO within the distance would send a message

It would, i agree - but i think Kell has just gotta concentrate on his boxing and if the stoppage comes then all well and good ...

Aye, it would send a message to you to pick holes in it and find new ways of calling him a c*nt

I think it'll be a points job.

Yes, watching him head-hunt N'Dou for 12 rounds won't do.

Witter started to do that in their fight having looked so sharp early on (he's also from Sheffield, I know, not my fault!)

Dismantling him over 12 would be a good experience having blown so many guys out, from the purists' perspective. Showing off his arsenal and fitness.

But to capture those armchair fans and make more of a name for himself a KO would do the trick.

We shall see.....

PS Ian, you're all cnuts, the holes you Sheffield lot leave are so big and wide I could park a JCB in them :)

Witter? Sheffield or Bradford?

Anyway, you get the point!

hooky, you've lead with your chin a bit on Brook - Jennings IMO, banging a rematch drum when I don't think Jennings showed enough to justify one, however naff the ending was.....

I was banging the drum for a rematch the week after the fight and kept that opinion rather than doing what most posters do and change it when someone disagrees with me, or two weeks later because I've forgotten what my original point was :)

I've not led with the chin, I showed a tight guard, or was waving my chin around like Naz (another good Sheffield pro) and showing off my reflexes as you all got flustered, missing with hooks, rushing in and being made to look foolish :TU:

I'll say it once more.

Was an even fight, Jennings is above domestic class, he was not beaten convincingly and that was that...

I won't mention it again, I promise!

IF Ndou has anything left then it will tell us everything we need to know about Brook.
yet to see him being hunted down (ala Rhodes) by a young hungry kid with real ambition.
that said I really hope the britain has a new world class fight in Brook.
I hope he's as good as his hype and I would love to see him fight a live body soon.

How can that guy compare Witter with Brook? Totally different animals! Brook is a likeable chap, Witter always came across bitchy and like the world was against him. Brook is already far more popular than Witter ever was (ok not too hard but what a stupid comparison to make).

Stan James have gone quite big at 10/11 for the Brook win by points. I think that's a half decent bet tbh.

This'll just be another 12rd boring fight

NDou can't beat Kell unless he gets lucky. It's not even a test for Kell imo.

And God knows what made me think of that!
He certainly did say that - although the Clash played some massive venues in the States. Its a shame Bernie Rhodes led the sacking of Mick Jones - the last Clash album was absolutely awful.

It is, but "This Is England" is a top, top song.
Yep Datsue even without Mick that's a classic Clash song, underated due to the rest of the album being pony.
