Our Next World Champ?

Post by DougieC30 »

Apart from Macklin tomorrow night who do you think will be our next World Champ. I left out Macklin as it would be really easy to pick him, so I put in boxers who don't currently have a World title fight lined up.

im going to say a name thats not on there

tony bellew

when he beats ovil mckenzie on the 16th i believe he will get a shot at cleverly because its a fight every1 wants to see.

and my prediction is bellew to beat cleverly by k.o, so if this was the case then i think bellew would be the next british world champion :bag:

I suppose it depends on who gets the opportunity first...with all the 'world championship' belts out there, all those mentioned could become a 'world champ' sooner or later.

However, looking down the list I would guess Kell Brook looks the most likely to become Britain's next 'world champ'.

The big man was going to go on it but I only had 10 spacesand it was hard to leave one of the 10 out. Hopefully the Bomber will be the next Champ.

Surely Nicky Cook has the first opportunity after Macklin? Probably has no hope with that one though.

As I said in my first post I didn't include fighters with World title fights sheduled. Would be too easy to decide

I hope makes the weight and we get the fight in the ring thanks very much!!!!
As for the next champ - I voted for Kell Brook - has the talent albeit might be a little rusty at the moment - a good performance tomorrow and he has to be in with a good shout. If you are including Chisora you probably have to include Tyson Fury as well Id say!

What about Rendall Munroe? I still think he has an chance against the fella that beat Molitor.

Ola Afolabi must be on the verge of another world title fight? Although the Cruiserweight division is pretty competitive.
