Ryan Rhodes speaks on life after Canelo

Ryan Rhodes has spoken for the first time about his WBC World Light Middleweight title defeat against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez last weekend.

He told Hatton TV that Alvarez is an outstanding talent and that he expects him to go on to become a boxing superstar. He admitted he had not expected Alvarez to box on the back foot & make him miss. He also said that after watching the fight back on TV he is less depressed about the fight.

He indicated that he is considering carrying on with his career and perhaps challenging for his old European title once again. He also confirmed that whatever happens he will remain as a light middleweight.
