Points loss against an unbeaten fighter in the other bloke's backyard.

No disgrace.

True. Earlier today I thought it was time he took on less experienced blokes, but that would mean less $$$$. Given he's now in it for that reason.......I guess not.

He will probably have to fight for it again having lost a couple of fights, just as Joval did when he lost a non-title fight to Sam Soliman when he was IBO middleweight champion. He is the last boxer to have won the title but I think it may be regarded as vacant.

The title was declared vacant following his loss to Alvarez. The title will be contested between Chris van Heerden of South Africa who won an eliminator in his last fight and the highest available contender TBA shortly.

maybe lovemore should retire. He's done well and im sure he's made some decent money. I remember reading somewere that he has a lay degree or something as well(?) so im sure he could make a good living Outside the ring

nothing more to fight for.

he's respected by all the people that count, and his health has to become his priority sooner or later surely.

One of my favourites. Bigger balls than many who call themselves world champ. I am not sure there are any more major fights out there for Lovemore. He has faced many of the worlds best and gained great respect for it. Unless there is that Huge money fight around the corner I would like to seehim pull the pin.

Lovemore Ndou has a law degree. You would be surprised to know how many non-practicing barristers and solicitors there are in Sydney. I have known some who finished up as school teachers.

Cotto, malignagi, alvarez, witter to name a few. He may have lost but he was never disgraced. Never stopped either. He's one tough sob

...most of whom sit on parliamentary back benches. Curly Howard went into politics because he was a useless solicitor. Organised buying a block of land once for a company that required an access road for heavy vehicles. After the deal had gone through it turned out there was a huge easement where the road was meant to go. :shame:
