I partly agree, but it's Wlads safety first boring robotic style that's turned US TV and worldwide fans (except the strange Germans) from the division/sport

It's not just the 'strange Germans', though, mate. Getting on for half a billion people live in Germany and Eastern Europe.
Either way, it's his safety first boring robotic style that's turned off a lot of fans to the division/sport. I, like the rest of us on here , am a boxing anorak and I had to force myself to watch any Wlad fight, and I was always underwhelmed at the end of the fight.

The sport/division needs a quick, exciting, powerful brash fighter at the helm.

Wlad is a nice guy but also a Joke as the so called Heavyweight Champion of the World.

Wlad loses to Ross Puritty - Big Bro steps in to avenge the loss
Wlad loses to Corrie Sanders - Big Bro steps in to avenge the loss
Wlad loses to Lamon Brewster - Big Bro is RETIRED DOH! ok wait till Brewster gets the stuffing knocked out of him by some other guys and is rendered blind in one eye then bring him to Germany after he's been out of the ring for 3 years and can't get licensed in America due to his poor vision.
Wlad gets dropped 3 times against Sam Peter - Big Bro steps in to knock the shit out of Peter before it's ok to face him again.

We need Haye to knock Wlad out sensationally inside 6 rounds and then set up an UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT with Vitali and finally put an end to the sham thats been the Heavyweight division for the 7 years.
So fighters can't lose any fights now? Give your head a shake man. Wlad has overcome those losses to become the #1 Heavyweight in the World.
he's not overcome those losses as he wouldnt rematch sanders and purrity and waited years to rematch brewster.

the man is a joke and the klit double act is destroying hw boxing.

This might be the worst post I've ever read on a forum. Someone with the opposite view could say.....

Haye didn't rematch Carl Thompson.

Haye didn't rematch Mormeck.

Haye chose the blatant cash grab against Fraudley rather than a fight against a genuine contender.

You are chosing to ignore the facts where Klitschko vs Peter II is concerned and are sticking to being a Haye nuthugger, plus I don't see how the division will be magically better if Haye wins, given that he's got his heart set on retirement. You'd just see Wlad in a fight for a vacated title and the dominance would re-commence.

Listen you stupid twat i've been posting in this forum since 2003 and i've come up with far worse posts then that so give me so credit!

Anway your rebuttal is a load of shite like all your other posts. Unlike Wlad's losses, Haye did try to re-match Thompson soon after the loss but it never happened for various reasons and there was no need to rematch Mormeck after going to Paris and knocking him out. What exactly were the 'facts' regarding Kltscko vs Peter II Mmmmm.

Infact i'd take the entertainment value of Lamon Brewsters short stinct as Heavyweight champion over Wlads longer one any day. At least his fights against Kali Meehan, Golota, Krasniqi and Liakhovich were exciting.

Wlad is 35 and if Haye knocks him out i guarantee you he won't ever be the force again and will probably retire. Even if Haye retires after beating Wlad and fighting Vitali in October then at least we can say for the first time since 2003 that there is a Undisputed Heavyweight champion of the world which will be great for boxing even if it's a fleeting moment. The fallout of who then becomes the dominant Heavyweight of the next few years will at least be far more exciting then what we've had from Wlad and to a lesser degree Vitali over the last few years and could involve some British boxers too like Fury, Chisora and Price.

address the point of the two brothers both taking on the others victors rather than giving them a straight rematch.

Exactly it kind of reminds me of the line in 'Dr Stangelove', "Gentlemen. You can't fight in here. This is the War Room!"

This is Pyschological warfare from David Haye, he is doing everything he can to get to Wlad and we'll see whether it works on saturday but at least we know he's going in there to win or go down fighting unlike a lot of previous Klitschko opponents who seem to have lost the battle before they enter the ring.

Obviously it's partly to get publicity which has worked fantastically, part to build up his own confidence for the fight and lastly to get inside Wlad's head and try to take him out of his gameplan.

This is a fight which essentially is between two counter punchers, it may even look a lot like Haye vs Harrison for the first round as both men wait for the other to engage or make the first mistake so it'll be down to fractions of seconds.

This

I personally can't wait for the fight and as an English man i'll be right behind Haye. Sure some of his build up talk hasn't been the best or sometimes appropriate but come Satuday night i won't give a toss, i'll be screaming the imtech arena down stood in Block 5a!!!!!!

Come on Haye!!!!!!!

I just see it as publicity from David Haye, I've never been a fan of Wlad Klitschko's boring style anyway so I agree with most the stuff he is saying. I don't think the swearing sounded right but the rest of the stuff I think 'so what', he's selling the fight great and I hope he knocks the stuffing out of Wlad. If he doesn't well nevermind he will have got himself upto £10m in the bank for his troubles.

Having watched Haye since he came through on the BBC and followed him ever since, I am going to be biased towards him. I think the whole crew who came along saying 'Haye is a knob, he's done nowt' etc, they to me are MOSTLY casuals who might have only seen his last few fights and jumped on a certain bandwagon. End of the day he has always tried to take on the best people in each divison, he has travelled out to other countries and out of his comfort zone. So he cashed in against Fraudley, well so fuckin what! Klitschko has been cashing in for years against old, fat, shite opponents!!

another mate is having a big get together with about 15 people goin round his to watch it...

6 or 7 lads from the office are looking forward to watchin it down their local.

of all those only 1 has a slight leaning towards klitschko...and he doesn't really follow boxing anyway....

To many Brits, that statement does apply.

But disliking Haye and loving ''the brave loser'' are mutually exclusive. Basically, Haye hasn't yet proven he is any more than a brave loser in the HW division yet - he's taking on the champion on Saturday, so we'll all find out which category Haye fits into after three years of talk.

I'll still not consider myself a Haye fan win or lose on Saturday, but after all the talking and ridiculous behaviour I'll commend him for finally going ahead with the fight. If he wins, I'll probably have to credit him more than most, because I rate Klitschko higher than many do and consider Haye knocking him over a tremendous feat.

Listening to many people it's little more than a formality.

If Haye loses, depending on the manner of the defeat he'll also have my respect. If he gets crushed but gives his all ala Bruno vs Tyson I, fair enough. If he looks like Eddie Chambers or Ruslan Chagaev did I'll think to myself ''I bet you wish you'd kept your trap shut''..... if he takes one punch and goes over, making a bucketload of excuses (unlikely I know) then I won't respect him, just as I don't respect crappy Latvian journeymen or cheaters.

in the same vein - I like the way that the biggest haye supporters are only registered from 2009 onwards :OhYes:

maybe its not so much a knock against haye personally - as a knock against boxing in this country in general, that the vast majority of people aren`t fully aware of when the fight is actually happening?

There again. I guess some fella who has been following boxing since 2009 onwards will be able to give us a better more informed answer ..

Haye would have beat Thompson with ease in a rematch, if you cant see this then you dont know this game.

As for Klit? Sanders would have chinned him again and Brewster 'might' have also done the same if it was within a year or so of the original.
So get the fuk outa here with that biased shite you write.

Beaten everyone put in front of him?

He's far from my favourite to watch, but he conducts himself with class and is an excellent role model for boxing. He is the consumnate professional, always in great shape.

Haye hasn't had half the career Wlad has yet, and whilst his fights may be explosive, he's yet to beat anyone to suggest he's the man at heavyweight.

In addition Haye has stated he will retire after this fight, so how will that help the division?
