ive always been under the impression Kell doesnt shift many tickets for whatever reason and that it was the reason he never got the big push from Frank W arren as it didnt make sense to him financially .lefthook82 wrote:Mosley? Malignani? Come on guys, Matchroom likley can't afford these fights when he is fighting in leisure centres
Gomez would be good and would give Kell one hell of a fight (think he probably beats him tbh) and probably could be brought over

Good idea can you see sugar shane going for it though pac man took it easy on him last outing kell would be trying for the ko and a big drop in cashWOODDDDDDDYA wrote:Malignaggi is a backwards step for me. He got schooled by Hatton & Khan at Light-Welterweight. Hearn should think big and try to set up a fight with Shane Mosley, that would be attraction on both sides of the atlantic.
;;-)

promoters job to build profile and advertise events fw never really bothered with either eddy hearn has built kell up more in the last two months ticket sales are a direct result of promotion matchroom realise this sports network focus on pay per view for revenuedamianhucker1 wrote:ive always been under the impression Kell doesnt shift many tickets for whatever reason and that it was the reason he never got the big push from Frank W arren as it didnt make sense to him financially .lefthook82 wrote:Mosley? Kells likeable and with the right exposure will gain a great following id lead with the naz connection
Re: Kell Brook who next
I quite like this idea, maybe if he can't fight some of the better names mentioned on here, a US fight against someone like Steve Forbes might be good for his profile.J-C wrote:Could Matchroom get him on the Froch/Ward undercard for bit of exposure?

How can you sell tickets if you don't get right push. Kell sold out last week. So with right promotion he could sell tickets. Also when you have so many boxers in your stable how can you build everyone with only 12 tv dates a year.damianhucker1 wrote:ive always been under the impression Kell doesnt shift many tickets for whatever reason and that it was the reason he never got the big push from Frank W arren as it didnt make sense to him financially .lefthook82 wrote:Mosley? LOL he sold out a leisure centre with 400 seats! My gran has enough friends to sell it out! Hes ok but i think hes over rated and the upright stance doesnt do it for me at the top level im afraid. Malignaggi is the pick, comes to fight, good speed and prob every bit as slick! Come to think of it Kell is probobably a UK version of Malignaggi

Kell job is to box and its his promoter job to promote. Kell has boxing talent and needs the right promotion to sell tickets. Ricky hatton and Naz were one offs. David haye fought Monte Barrett and it was half full. Then Haye realised if he did the TV circuit he can sell tickets. Promoting and boxing sometimes dont come hand in hand.
Kell should be given another challenge not Hatton think that would be a step backward.
Would like Ricky to get Matthew a cheap world title which Kell could fight him for in a couple of fights.

Looking at The Ring's Welterweight ratings, there are some very makeable (and probably winnable) fights in there. 5 of the Top 10 are Europe-based. Someone like Zaveck or Senchenko, unbeaten fighters with titles who in all likelihood haven't faced a better class of opposition than Brook has.

I think Matt Hatton would be ideal as he's known and I reckon Kell would look good against him. I think the belt holders and big names will avoid Kell unless there is big money involved and at the minute Kell can't bring big money unless Hearn's willing to invest. So Kell may have to keep busy and look good on Sky building his profile and reputation while improving his rankings.
