That is too bad. 55 is too young. He always seemed like a nice guy. He was very good fighter.

Bad news. I remember him all the way back in his amateur days. I believe he fought in the old Chicago vs NewYork inner city Golden Gloves bouts.

Costello was one of those guys who got alot of TV exposure. Good entertaining fighter. Everyone I knew thought he was black, but actually he had an Irish father and a Tamil mother. Somewhere I have his biography. Sad news to hear.

Yeah, there are some interesting chapters on his career in The Black Lights.
