THOMAS HEARNS VS AARON PRYOR AT WELTERWEIGHT 1980

Post by marchegianorock »

AARON PRYOR BEAT A 17 YEAR OLD THOMAS HEARNS AT LIGHTWEIGHT IN 1975. THIS COULD BE DIFFERENT IN 1980 AGAINS A POWER PUNCHER LIKE HEARNS? OBVIOUSLY YOU CAN'T COMPARE ARGUELLO RIGHT HAND WITH HEARNS RIGHT HAND A REAL WELTERWEIGHT.

Hearns by early KO. There is a reason Pryor didn't move up to Welter and it wasn't because Leonard was afraid of him. He was too small.

Hearns literally puts his head somewhere in the 3rd row. It bears no thought, such a bout.

How old was Pryor when he beat a 17-year-old Hearns?

Right around the same time Howard davis was beating Aaron. Nobody seems to care about that Amateur result. What if Davis had moved up Jr Welter earlier? Would he repeat his Amateur dominance over 15 rounds?

LOL!!! There was no more chance of Pryor stepping into the pro prize fighting ring with Hearns or Duran than the possibility of Mike Tyson being hired to become then next U.S. ambassador to the Vatican.

Of all the imaginative scenarios I have ever seen here, this one just may top them all.
