His working on that, his coach is known for a good defensive work (former Ottke-coach). Eastman should do some sparring with a Heavyweight. Abraham has the same punching power........
Nice one, Foggy. I've been checking the "neXt in line" schedule for the past couple weeks and have seen it build and build into this. Truly an awesome day of boxing. Maybe the best in the year? (and ALL of last year?)
*Freitas continues the comeback.
*Jennings - Vincent for British title: Jimmy finally gets another crack.
*Williams - Skelton: who really is the best heavyweight in the UK?
*Khan's pro debut.
*Takaloo and Ryan Rhodes on the comeback.
*Prospect Tony Doherty makes an appearance, as does Khan floorer Craig Watson.
*Eastman takes on a tough first fight back in Abraham.
*Magee takes on Tsypko for Euro title, with a worth watching undercard featuring Haussler, Sylvester, Hakkar, Sanavia, Kurzawa and Koc.
*Cruiserweight contender Vincenzo Cantatore takes on an unbeaten, but padded, Brazilian.
*Young Juan Diaz takes a keep busy fight in a card featuring the ever-exciting Chris Henry.
*Eric Morel takes the Montiel test.
*Bernard Hopkins puts the crown on the line versus supposed heir to the throne.
I've got to take my hat off to Abraham in making the fight with Howard Eastman after just 16 fights, that is no easy route to the top he is taking. He must be supremely confident in his ability.

True, but the same could be said of Eastman. Better boxers have fought far easier opponents off the back of a hard-fought against one of the greats

Agreed. I wonder whether Eastman is taking this with the intention of getting another legitimate title shot, or just for a big German payday? Maybe both.
I'll be watching the Sprott vs Williams fight, and Amir Khans debut with interest. Does anyone know whether Howard Eastmans fight will be on the television?

Probably both, yeah - might as well. For all his domestic and European success, I'm sure Howard doesn't have numerous double garages brimming with gold coins, and wouldn't say no to biggish cheques if they came with the right opponent.
I suppose we'll have to wait 'til tonight to see how he's doing performance wise after the Hopkins setback. Hopefully he has a few years left in him, so he might just have to bide his time again (if he still has the desire.) He'd certainly be helped by Hopkins retiring or moving up to fight Tarver or whatever.
