How about this guy for Kell Brook's next fight?

Post by Jon Saxon »

Alfredo Angulo.
He's slow, predictable, can punch and has a big fornicate off moustache AND also is rated by HBO.

Has US visa issues but shouldnt be a problem with UK entry.

I think Kell could shine in this fight and it would get t US intested in im bigtime!

Is Hearn trying to get Paulie over here or you think Kell will travel?

They might get Brook/Paulie on the Froch/Ward undercard.

Wouldn't surprise me if this bill turned into a mini US/UK match, like you sometimes see in athletics.

Brook needs to fight someone with a pulse before taking on a top 154 pounder like Angulo.

Angulo is way to big in size for team Brook to take on - they love there size advantage over other fighters.

If malinagi is not available I'm sure one of Furys 2 bodyguards at Wembley would be available - that's more up there street.......

I agree with the above on the Froch V Ward Undercard in Vegas that would be a good fight to watch, speed of Paulie and speed, reflex & power of Kell.

Thats if Paulie doesn't fight Devon Alexander in the meantime as they seem to have some beef going off on YouTube etc and if Paulie's hands are ok as he seems to break them everytime...

Not sure angulo is the way forward for Kell. Kell needs to dominate his weight class then think about WBC rated light middleweights. Angulo is one on the fights on Alverez radar :bag:

Definitely one to avoid at this stage in Kel's career.
He is one dangerous opponent - and intending to campaign at LM anyway ?

I think a better opponent for Kell at this stage would be Luis Collazo who is known to British fans for his controversial losses to Ricky Hatton and Andre berto

If Kell could look good beating Collazo he would definately make an impact not only in Britain but America too.

Matthew Hatton would tick all the boxes for me. I used to think there would be no way they would put him in with Kell but have had to revise that view after they sent him over the Atlantic to box Saul Alvarez!

Why on earth would you want him to fight someone "slow and predictable" if you have belief in his ability?

PS Yes Angulo is a step up but isn't that what people want to see? I can't believe Matthew Hatton is being touted, surely the likes of Gomez and Jones and Malignaggi are the next targets?

If he's world class he needs to mix in those circles, why wait?
