Thought Klitschko showed himself to once again as the most boring and negative HW champ of all time, along with his brother.

Haye is a natural cruiser with stamina issues and overreliant on a big punch. Still done very well for himself in his career but also was always likely to come up short against a Klit. Given how much grief he had to give to get the fight hyped, now we see the ridiculous overreaction from some punters in return.

Wlad is the 21st century Joe Louis.

Haye has earned ten times more money than any other mouthy cruiserweight in history

No disgrace in losing to a seasoned heavyweight like Wladimir Klitschko

Klitschko was just too big and Haye couldnt find an answer to that left jab. In reality, if he was going to win this fight or have a chance of winning it, then he had to go out guns blazing throwing the bombs. The tactics he adopted against Valuev were never going to work against Klitschko, so his best chance would have been to provoke a tear up and put Wladimir on the back foot. Haye didnt want to risk that strategy, so decided to play the waiting game and hope a chance would come to open up on Wladimir, hurt him and take him out.............That chance never came !!

The fight went exactly how I imagined it would. Haye lost my support the day he started banging on about retiring by such and such time, one foot already out the door and going on about his legacy?!

What legacy? He has achieved nothing. He is a joke.

His attitude was pathetic and I am so glad he lost.

Yeah except that Joe Louis had fantastic footwork, and was deadly with his combinations.
Plus, though Joe had a great defence, he could not necessarily be described as a defensively-minded fighter.

Whereas Wlad is (and always has been) caution first, and is over-reliant on his jab.

Oh and there are nmo comparisons that can be made between these two fighters, Joe was a couple of notches above Wlad, Louis was out of his league.

And Joe would sh1t all over him.

I think Wlad is as good as I thought he was, as for Haye well, he's still a decent fighter but just not as good as he or Adam Booth thought he was.

Haye is more flash than substance.

He beat no one of note at heavy and went away weakly tonight. Haye does not have real skills, overreliant on his power, the power is not really there, he has not scopred 1 ko at heavy..

He won't retire. A belt was all he had. Whatever he does its a pay cut and deservedly so.

If anyone is 'boring and negative' its Haye, running round the outside of the ring all night like against Valuev refusing to engage. I'd rather watch Wlad than that any day.
