The thing is, we saw the same timid performance vs valuev and there was no toe injury there. The toe seemed ok when he connected well in the 12th so why was it stopping him doing so in the 1st? It's a poor excuse.

i've dislocated my toe and had 6 ops on my left kneee, but after cortison injections i could of walked a through Stuart Pearce tackle, so no! the little toe doesn't come into it
