After 5 heavyweight fights...

Post by Stiff_jab »

Should Haye be wondering why? As soon as he has come up aginst a top class heavyweight he has come unstuck.

Apart from the paypacket and his arrogant persona why did he not stay in the cruiserweight division? He could have dominated that division for a long time and created a real legacy. Instead he has stepped up a division that he is simply not big enough for in a vain attempt to de-throne the Klitschko brothers. And has been found out.

I for one am quite glad that he didn't win. He overstepped the mark in the build-up to this fight and the preceeding months, completely disrespectful. ANYONE that has the balls/heart/skill to step through those ropes should be given complete respect. By all means be confident in your interviews, slag off your opponent, and big yourself up but not in the way that Haye did it, that was embarrassing. Could you imagine him if he had 5 world titles? He would put himself in the catagory of one of the best ever heavyweights. He has only had 5 fights at this weight and he has already come un-stuck. If he wants to carry on, I for one would suggest that he drops back down for one last 'hurrah' at cruiserweight.

You should at least give Haye a modicum of credit for make a Klitschko fight interesting.

No Klitshchko fight has had this much column inches that I can remember.

Haye dosn`t deserve any credit,Hese a fraud who acted with no class before and none after.
The toe excuse is cringeworthy and he` ll never beat a top class heavyweight.
He showed his true character in this fight moaning and cheating all the way through.

Other than Wlad and Vitali, who exactly are these other "top" heavyweights that would beat Haye?

Haye won`t defeat any of the top guys, Adamek,Chagaev,Perez,Arreola,Chambers,Thompson, solis etc
I wouldnt confidently pick him over Chisora or Holyfield (Holyfield did far better job on Valuev than Haye and never fights scared)

Really? Adamek and Solis I accept are good fighters, but the rest? Surely a joke? In what world do Chageav, Perez!!!, Arreola!!!!!! Chambers and Thompson exist as "top" heavyweights? If you read this month's BN, Chisora isn't expected to get past Tyson Fury let alone Haye

I expect you're disappointed in Haye's performance, but please keep a sense of reality!

Not disapointed at all the fight was easy to predict and Ive nether brought into the Haye massive puncher all time cruiser great theory. Unfortunatly these guys are the top heavies at the moment (can you name some others?) and as poor as they are their still better than any of Hayes heavyweight opposition up untill Klitshko.
Haye like DeGale before him has embarrassed himself with his trash talk and then not backed it up.
I don`t like Haye as I think as a heavyweight he`se a fraud (all be it a very rich one) but I don`t hate him its to hard a sport to hate anybody :TU:
