Haye was looking for that one shot, that was his mistake and thats what effed himself.

Wlad took advantage of that and messed up Hayes whole gamplan, if you would call it a gameplan...

giancarlo,

yes i was right, but it was what most people expected, it was just a matter of whether fans got caught up in hayes verbal barrage over the last year or 2.

but i thought it was a good fight, just both guys were a little too tentative, and it was a bit frustrating at times.

the main thing was that i ALWAYS felt haye could land a killer punch if i turned away for a second. u couldn't say that for many of wlads recent fights.

amwsnw wrote:I didnt mind the fight. In comparison to Wlads previosu fights it was quite enteratining. The size difference was much greater than I expected. Will be interesting to see where Haye goes from here. He's the best out there outside Wlad and probably Vitali but I dont see, broken toe or not, how Haye could beat Wlad. Not sure if anyone else kept score but I had it 115 112 for Wlad. I took the point off Wlad as the judges would have, but didnt score the knock down as 10/8. The margins were much more lopsided than I expected.
agreed on the scorecares. I though it was a bit closer than the judges did.

I thought the margins were spot on. Haye was too scared to let his hands go and for some reason kept flopping to canvas under his own impetus. Anything more than 3 rounds to Haye is generous--even Haye's trainer admitted that the cards were fair.

Broken toe :shame: They should make a shrine, some kind of monument to his courage, his steely resolve to carry on in the face of this crippling, to the rest of us mortals, injury.

Was a woman around my way that went by that nickname. Bloke was having it off with her in his car and she started a really loud noise. She had caught her foot in the glovebox and broke one of her toes.

Spoiled the bloke's idea of himself as a Casanova. :OhYes:
