He'd need to roll in and unleash the left. Tyson was so effective with uppercuts and his left to the body because he scared people to the ropes. I can't see how Haye could put Wlad in a position to fire uppercuts at him. He'd definitely need to straighten his right hand. Even at the correct range for it he seems to throw the Eubank special.
Haye isn't good enough to execute that game plan. Haye is a mobile banger who can only really fight at range throwing long power shots. His inside game is terrible, and he wings his shots when in close. Technically he is pretty poor, he's not compact or tight enough and his defence relies on his relfexes which aren't as good as he thinks.
Wlad looked quicker than Haye at times, and with his shots being much straighter they arrived before haye's ever time.
Tyson was a different animal, he was much quicker than Haye, and he closed the gap so fast.
Tyson would have struggled with Wlad because of his size, he was never good against big men who held a lot, but he'd have ground him down and bashed him up late in the fight.
