For the last couple of weeks, I've been telling my brother, who is not a big boxing fan, that Haye was out of his depth and didn't stand a chance. My brother had cleaned up on Betfair laying Andy Murray and when he came round last night to watch the fight, he told me that he'd been totally convinced by my arguments and put the lot on Wlad to win.
The end result: I end up with nothing. Our kid drinks my beers, watches my Sky TV and makes a four figure sum based entirely on British failure. Life is unfair.

I backed Haye intially for £50 at 23/10 with Bwin just to win weeks ago but got less confident by last week and had £80 on Wlad to hedge my stake off at 8/13 with Ladbrokes so effectively neither won nor lost.

If not for that idiot Ref I would have won on no knockdowns in the fight.
