George Warren has just tweeted (1 minute ago) box office details for the 16th July show, including Murray v Mitchell. If the fight is off, but they are using the names to sell tickets that is terribly poor form, and in all likelihood illegal.

must say im not convince mitchellis ever gonna return back to form.

1. the beating he took
2. in front of home fans
3. the shit in his personal life that wobnt go away
4. the fact in BM, he reckons he did 100 grand in booz in 6 months...thats 25000 pints in 180 days = equivilient of 139 pints a day.
5. everone keeps commenting on the fact he looks heavy.
no wonder he is struggling with the weight if p4 is true.

people are saying that the winner of murray v mitchell will go on to fight the winner of burns v cook at a catchweight.

if i was burns id be telling warren to get a grip, wasnt so long ago mitchell fucked burns about and then took a bleaching from katsidis. now hes walking straight back into a potential shot at burns.

I wonder will they show one of the big Stateside fights? Paul Williams is fighting Erislandy Lara and Brandon Rios is fighting Antillon. Rios has been touted as a possible opponent for Murray in the past. Bute is fighting Mendy aswell in Romania - possible Froch opponent.

I can only imagine so. It would be a bit late to start promoting a PPV. Could never see Sky allowing two PPV's in the space of three weeks.

Prime Time are showing Bute v Mendy FREE TO VIEW on saturday. Clearly doing it to promote the Khan PPV, but means we get some boxing next week.

It can be done - Haye-Harrison and Khan-Maidana was done last year? But I think (and hope) yer right - seems strange they havent put it "Live on Sky TV" on their site

As of yesterday, this fight isn't cancelled and was simply rescheduled.

However, there may be a future twist if rumours are to be believed about weight.

What is the point of this thread? We knew it was in Liverpool on the 16th and there is already a big thread about this move further down the page.
